Stop figuring it out alone

Building and leading in the AI era is a new job.
Nobody hands you the manual.

I’ve spent 20+ years helping teams decide what to build, how to build it, and how to move through change. AI is reshaping all three.

You could spend months sorting through tools, workflows, hype, and false starts, or spend an hour getting clear on what matters, what doesn’t, and what to do next.

The Sessions

The Second Opinion

30 minutes · $175

For one sharp question, decision, or direction you want pressure-tested before you commit.

Bring the plan, idea, or decision in front of you. I’ll help you spot the risks, tighten the approach, and decide what to do next.

  • Where I’d focus first
  • The risks, gaps, or tradeoffs I see
  • A clearer recommendation or next step
  • The recording and a same-day recap of what we decided

The Working Session

60 minutes · $300

For working a real problem end to end. Your product strategy, your team, your AI adoption, your workflow, or the thing you know needs to change but haven’t figured out yet.

Bring the problem. We’ll work through it together, make the decisions clearer, and turn it into a practical path forward. And if what you’re after is learning how I build with AI, that’s a working session too.

  • A focused working session on the problem in front of you
  • The recording, plus a written follow-up doc with the key decisions, recommendations, and next steps
  • Clearer direction you can use with your team, your work, or your next build

The Follow-Through

60 minutes + the week after · $475

For when you don’t just want the plan, you want help carrying it into the work.

We’ll use the session to work through the problem, make the decisions clearer, and define the path forward. Then I’ll stay with it for the week after, so you’re not left trying to translate the conversation into action on your own.

  • Everything in the Working Session
  • A written follow-up doc with key decisions, recommendations, and next steps
  • One week of email follow-up as you put the plan into motion
  • A 30-minute check-in to review what changed and adjust the next steps

If a session wasn’t useful, notify me within 14 days and I’ll refund your money. I won’t take your money if I can’t help you.

For teams and bigger problems

Team training

Workshops for teams facing new problems, new tools, or new ways of working. One recent 60-minute conversation with a Fortune 100 leadership team became a two-day workshop and a group now leading that change company-wide.

  • A team adopting AI that needs a shared way to use it well
  • A group that keeps stalling on a decision or direction
  • A new way of working that isn’t sticking yet

Custom advisory

For bigger problems that don’t fit in one session. We shape the format around the problem, not the solution you think you need.

  • A transformation or change effort that needs an outside guide
  • A cross-cutting problem no single session will crack
  • A rough idea that needs shaping into a plan your team can run with

Who You’re Booking

First and foremost, I’m a problem solver.

You’re staring at something nobody around you has solved before, figuring out the biggest shift of your career by trial and error, in real time, with real money and real people riding on it. Most of the advice out there comes from people who never had to ship the thing themselves.

For over 2 decades I’ve moved through the work from the inside out. From 5-person startups to 70K+ corporations. From technical and operational roles to product leadership, executive responsibility, and running product and engineering across an entire continent for a global corporation.

That range matters to you. I’ve made the decisions, built the teams, hired the people, coached the leaders, and stayed close enough to the work to understand where vision and strategy usually break when they hit reality.

None of it is theory I keep to myself. My thinking on vision, strategy, leadership, and product management is written down in the Product Playbook.

Today, I consult with startups and large corporations on the problems that sit between strategy and execution. AI, product, transformation, workshops, custom builds, and change management. I’m also building AI tools that help employees level up their output and create things they wouldn’t have thought possible before.

I also teach and build curriculum at the University of Illinois around design thinking and AI. That work forces clarity. It’s not enough to understand the concepts myself. I have to make complex ideas clear, practical, and useful for people who need to apply them in the real world.

The future of work is already here. Most people just don’t have access to it, and Future of Workis where I show what I’m building to give it to them.

Don’t take my word for it

That is a big shift.

You’re not hesitant to say it bluntly, even if it’s uncomfortable. But the biggest thing I like was the framing difference you suggested. Unbelievable. That is a big shift.

Senior AI/product executive

Brilliant thinking.

What’s truly genius is how much time you have spent designing and developing agentic workflows. This is brilliant thinking on your part, and is something you have inspired me to adopt.

Engineering leader, on the toolkit

I can’t thank you enough.

You spent a lot of time with me and were always available whenever I needed help. That honestly made a big difference. The mock interviews, especially the about me introduction, and all your guidance really helped me feel confident going into each conversation. I can’t thank you enough.

How it works

1

Pick your session.

Grab a time, pay up front, knock out a quick intake about what you’re working on.

2

We work the problem.

No backstory laps, no pitch. You talk, we build, I’m blunt when it helps and I’ll tell you if I’m the wrong guy.

3

You leave with the plan.

Recording, written recap, and on the Follow-Through a week of email follow-up while you execute.

FAQ

Why pay for a call I could figure out myself?

You could. I’ve done it the slow way plenty. But I’ve also paid for other people’s brains more than once, experts who’d already built what I was trying to build. A couple hours of their time taught me what two or three months and a stack of books couldn’t. The books taught me the happy path. The experts told me the real story and showed me the traps before I hit them. Because the traps only show up when you build, and seeing them coming is what you’re actually paying for.

My problem doesn’t fit neatly into product, AI, engineering, or innovation.

Bring it anyway. What I actually sell is problem solving. I’m an expert in design thinking, a problem-solving methodology, and I teach it at the University of Illinois. Most real problems don’t respect the categories anyway. If I’m the wrong person, I’ll tell you inside the first five minutes and point you at a better next step.

Is this confidential?

Yes. What you share stays between us. If you need an NDA signed, send it along when you book.

What if we need more time?

Then we book more time. Sessions end on schedule, but if the problem is bigger than our time I’ll say so, and we’ll pick the right next step together. Another session, a longer engagement, or nothing at all if you already have what you need.

Need to reschedule?

Life happens. Move your booking any time up to 24 hours out, no questions asked.

What’s your refund policy?

If the session wasn’t useful, notify me within 14 days and I’ll refund your money. Simple as that. I won’t take money I didn’t earn.

Not booking?
Say hello anyway.

I read everything that comes through here, and I’ll point you at the next best step. Even when that step isn’t me. One boundary, though. If what you’re after is my brain on your problem, that’s what the sessions are for. The form is for everything else.
